Burglary Alert!

Many towns in Bergen County are suffering a rash of burglaries. The holidays are near and money is scarce. Englewood is getting its share. The EHOA members have notified our office of burglaries on North Woodland Street and two on East Hamilton Avenue. Cars have been stolen from garages and driveways as well. Please be vigilant. Leave lights and radio or a television on when you are away from your home. Don’t forget to leave you cell phone by the night table at night. Burglars have a tendency to cut telephone cables to damage your alarm system. Don’t forget to lock your cars and leave windows closed. Don’t let newspapers pile in your driveway. Stop your deliveries or have a friend or neighbor pick them up along with your mail if you plan on being out of town. These prowlers are professionals.
