Some Property Owners Do Not Pay Taxes

Englewood has numerous tax-exempt properties (beneficial uses). Also we have four properties owned by foreign governments that for years have refused to pay taxes. The Libyan Consulate owns almost four acres and a magnificent home on Palisades Ave. and South Woodland Street. The Nigerian Consulate owns two properties on West Hudson Ave. and a third property on Lantana Avenue. We wish these properties could be foreclosed.
