Department of Health Salaries Released
Sixteen employees of the Health Department, including the Director of Health, Violet Cherry (who was the chairman of the Municipal Democratic Committee and still sits on the Municipal Democratic Committee) will receive the following salaries (see insert) according to an advertisement in the Press Journal on 11/15/01.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Ordinance was introduced at a meeting of the Board of Health of the City of Englewood, Bergen County, New Jersey, conducted on Monday, November 5, 2001 and will be further considered for final passage and adoption at a meeting of said Board to take place on Wednesday, December 12, 2001 at 8:00 p.m. at 73 South Van Brunt Street, Englewood, New Jersey.

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ANNUAL SALARIES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD AS OF JANUARY 2, 2002.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Health of the City of Englewood, in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey, as follows:
Section 1. The salary schedule for the annual salaries for the year 2002, effective January 1, 2002 for the year 2002 and until passage of a further ordinance, for the employees of the Department of Health of the City of Englewood is hereby established as follows:
