City Salaries

It appears that the highest paid employee in the City is Violet Cherry, Director of the Health Department. Her salary, effective January 1, is $115,000 plus pension and benefits. The City Manager, whose responsibilities are enormous, will receive a salary of $113,950 plus pension and benefits. The Englewood Fire Chief’s salary is $104,805; he supervises about sixty-three firefighters. The Englewood Police Chief receives $104.805; he supervises about seventy-two police officers. These salaries were published in he Press Journal. In our following issue we will publish the salaries of the city administration, finance, public works, fire department, recreation department, municipal court and other assigned various departments.
