Former Mayor Aronson was on Channel 10 News during the
past election night and said that a portion of future rateables that Englewood
could obtain from building on the Industrial Park should be shared with
Leonia. Is he planning to move
there?
The gigantic glass walled indoor tennis court, built on
Next Day Hill Court, appears to be over the height limit for a residential
zone, but according to our building official Don Porrino, it is build to
code. We hope for the sake of the
homeowners in the immediate area, the owners will place a 9 to 12 foot
evergreen wall around it. But what about
lighting? Will the owners play tennis at
11 p.m. or later? Will there be midnight
matches? Maybe ceiling-to-floor shades
are in order?
