The annual operating budget (administration, instructional and support staff program and instructional supplies, indirect costs) for the first year of the program shows an FTE* cost of $29,686; this cost drops to $14,876 in year five. The following chart depicts operating costs and capital/equipment costs for the first five years of the program.
School/Program Renewal: Englewood Public Schools

The program renewal budget is presented as an intervention budget and lists only those expenses that are required to correct serious program and student performance deficiencies and bring the schools back to a point of excellence and racial balance. No administrative or indirect costs, for example, are included in the budget presented.
