Primary Election Results

Congratulations are in order for Rev. Vernon Walton, pastor of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church, who won the Democratic City Council primary and for Dr. Robert Lebovics, a physician, who won the Republican nomination.  The winner of the election in November will take retiring City Councilman Wayne Hamer's at-large seat.

The 2003 City Budget is $43.4 million, a 3% increase over the 2002 Budget.  Find out more
