Public School Update

On Thursday November 1, the position of Assistant Superintendent was filled upon the recommendation of the Superintendent. James Lerman, the former director of technology at the Dalton School in NYC. He will receive a salary $112,500 per year (prorated). This contract will be up for renewal in June.

This resolution was not on the agenda for the School Board meeting. Copies of the resolution were given to the public only seconds before the Board voted, at the request of one resident who was in the audience. Mr. Lerman was in the audience as well. Our co-president, Eugina Vogel, was able to find out that he worked at the Dalton School for approximately two years. Leberman was free to start his job immediately.
