Road Construction and Repaving
Roadway reconstruction for Hillside Avenue, Church Street and Spring Lane has gone out for bids. This will be a big project, which probably will begin during the construction year of 2002.

Thornton Road is on the list to be repaved.

Speed Humps
The number of speed humps on Booth Avenue has been reduced and several of its traffic signs have been removed.

Dog Runs
There are two parks in Englewood that allow dog runs. They are Denning and Durie Parks. Denning Park is located at Lafayette Place and Thomson Avenue in the 4^th Ward. Durie Park is located on the right side of Durie Avenue and across from Whiten White Stadium in the 1^st ward. There are no parks in the 2^nd or 3^rd wards that allow dog runs. Councilman Michael Wildes is working hard on obtaining dog runs in one of the parks in the 2^nd ward at members’ requests.
